Services We Provide     

INR Clinic

Every Tuesday pm at Roathwell Surgery

Baby Clinic

Thursday am at Roathwell Surgery for babies registered at both surgeries.

Asthma Clinic:

If you are due an Asthma review, please make a 20 minute appointment with the Asthma Nurse.  The Practice Nurse will review your medication, symptoms, general wellbeing regarding asthma and answer any queries you may have.

COPD Clinic:

If you are due a COPD review, please make a 40 minute appointment with the Health Care Assistant or the COPD Practice Nurse in her absence.  You will have your medication reviewed symptoms, and general wellbeing regarding your COPD and answer any queries you may have.  Please bring your inhalers to the appointment.

Diabetes Clinic:

If you are due a Diabetic check please make an appointment with the Diabetic Nurse who will carry out blood tests, followed by a medication review and answer any questions you may have.

Cytology:

If you are due a smear please make a 20 minute appointment with one of the Practice Nurses

Teledermatology:

This is done at the surgery Ad Hoc as and when required.

All Patients 16 - 74:

We suggest that patients who are 16 - 74 years old should have a 3 yearly check-up with the Doctor or the Nurse of their choice.

Over 75:

We suggest that patients who are over 75 years old should have a yearly check-up with the Doctor or Nurse of their choice.

Flu Clinic:

This is a seasonal clinic which commences September each year.  Please ask at reception for a list of the dates that these clinics will be held at each of the surgeries or look on our website for the details.

Pneumonia Vaccines:

These are carried out Ad Hoc as and when required please ask one of the receptionist for more details.

Travel Vaccines:

Please make an appointment with one of the Practice Nurses for travel vaccines and advice.  Please be aware that there is a charge for travel immunisations and some may also require a private prescription which is also chargeable.  You cannot have the immunisation and decline the private prescription.  Make sure you discuss with the practice nurse what immunisations you require and what costs are involved.

Blood Pressure Monitoring:

If you have not had your blood pressure checked within the last 9 months please book a routine 10 minute appointment with our Health Care Assistant.
